Whatever you do, don't get in between him and the bushhog. We are also joined by Samantha Weiland. Sam holds one of our working boarder positions, and we have one slot open! GUINNESS

Guinness, aka I'm Legit Guinness, aka I'm Legit

Scoring consistently in the mid 20's for dressage (75%+), and jumping clear, Guinness completed the 2007 season at Beginner Novice. Look for him to be competing briefly at the Novice level and heading toward a Training Level Three Day Event in 2008. Guinness was purchased as a weanling in 2003, and has become quite the "fixture" at Whistling Ridge.

CHAIYA

Chaiya, aka Just About Perfect Chaiya, aka Just About Perfect Chaiya, aka Just About Perfect

Chaiya WRF (aka "Just About Perfect") 2006 TB/Holsteiner mare registered Oldenburg N/A. Chaiya is the youngest member of Team WRF, and we expect great things from her in the future. She was 5th overall at the Future Event Horse Championships at Morven Park this year for yearling fillies. Great looks, coupled with an outstanding personality and unflappable character, and tremendous jumping genes should all come together quite nicely in a few years when she begins her eventing career.

BELLA GABRIELLA (ake "Fina")

Purchased as an upper-level event prospect in 2001, Fina wowed everyone with her unusual flashy movement and uncanny natural jumping ability. Due to injuries sustained in her limited racing career, Fina was unfortunately sidelined in her competitive career after success at the Novice level in eventing. Fina has been retired to play the role of "Momma" as WRF's first broodmare. Impressing everyone, Fina received the HIGH SCORE for all mares presented at the 2007 Chestnut Lawn Farm Oldenburg N/A Inspection. She earned her first * (star) in the process, and was entered into the premium mare book....a RARE feat for a Thoroughbred mare! Fina is in foal to the warmblood paint stallion Sempatico for an April 2008 paint foal. Look out for this fancy foal!


WILLOW

Willow Willow Willow

Whistling Ridge Farm welcomed Miss Willow earlier this year. Willow is a rescued Belgian Draft horse mare, born in 2004 as a result of PMU breeding. For more information on PMU, checkout this site. Elena West is the proud sponsor (aka "momma") of Willow's care here at WRF, and Tim is looking forward to learning how to ride her once she's had her steering aligned a bit better.
