Elegant and extremely athletic, "Fina" is a proven competitor and broodmare. She is a is a very rich black bay, a lovely mover and very scopey jumper (clearing 5'5" from a trot!). Each time, she has passed along her good looks and athleticism to her foals. This is a rare opportunity to add top-quality Thoroughbred mare (Bold Ruler, NORTHERN DANCER) with STAR status in the Oldenburg Premium Mare Book.
Fina successfully competed in lower-level eventing before retiring to motherhood. She has produced two lovely foals: a 2008 colt by Sempatico and a 2010 filly by Riverman */*/*/*/*, and each foal came easily to her without complications. The 2010 filly received an 8.2 premium award at her inspection. Fina was the high-score mare at her Oldenburg N/A inspection, scoring 107 points including a score of 9 for her expressive, feminine head and intelligent eye. At the inspection, she received her first Oldenburg Star Award. With one premium foal already on the ground, she is well on her way to star #2! Currently in foal to Landkoenig (Landadel) due May 2012 - sold together! Fina is very low maintenance and very easy clipping, farrier, trailering, etc.
Landkönig completed his 100 day test at Adelheidsdorf as a three-year-old and was 7th out of 50 with 118.10 points overall and a 9.5(!) for stadium jumping, 8's for willingness to work, character, temperament and the walk. Overall balanced on his jumping and rideability scores. The Hannoveraner Jahrbuch Hengste 2005 lists Landkönig with a jumping breeding value of 132 putting him ahead of Ritual, Drosselklang, Espri, Escudo II, Grosso Z and many other top German Grand Prix producers! "Razzle" - 2004 15.3H Chestnut QH Mare (*photos by WRF and Brant Gamma)
Razzle is a 7 year old, 15.3H, chestnut quarter horse mare. Over the last 4 years, she has been shown and schooled extensively up and down the East Coast. Razzle has competed several recognized beginner novice events where she consistently scored in the 20's and low 30's, including a 29.1 at the USPC Eventing Championships in Lexington, Kentucky. Razzle has also successfully completed and placed in schooling shows at the novice level, and she goes in a loose ring snaffle for all three phases. Razzle has competed in .95 meter jumpers and training level dressage. Over the last three years, Razzle was used for Pony Club where she competed in show jumping, dressage, eventing, and even polocrosse. Razzle would make a super all around lower-level horse. She is a very easy keeper who enjoys her 24/7 turnout but could also easily adapt to stall board. She clips, ties, trailers, bathes, and stands for the vet and farrier. Razzle is very calm and has a super sweet personality, making her a barn favorite.
